Minutes of the Council Meeting held via google Meet on January 12th 2021
PRESENT: Cllrs G. D. Crompton-Howe (Chairman); S Carter, I Brooke, D Leah, D Mellor and the clerk
01.21 APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE- None
02.21TO RECEIVE DECALRATIONS OF INTEREST IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE 2011 LOCALISM ACT- None
03.21 REPORTS FROM DISTRICT COUNCIL AND COUNTY COUNCIL- None in attendance.
04.21 PUBLIC PARTICIPATION-

05.21 APPROVAL OF NOTES OF THE MEETING HELD 30th July 2020
Resolved that the notes of the meeting be approved & signed as correct Minutes of the meeting.
06.21 MATTERS ARISING FROM NOVEMBER 2019 MEETING
None
07.21 -COMMUNITY FIELD UPDATE
Cllr Brooke provided a report. A number of events have been suggested to raise money and also community events. Cllr Brooke suggested a joint meeting with Normanby by Spital to discuss CPC matters and the ways forward. Clerk to contact NBS clerk to arrange a suitable date.
08.21 CEMETERY MATTERS
Path has been repaired. Invoice breakdown for repairs to cemetery path has been sent to NPC as requested. Jeff Summers has confirmed that he did provide a grant of £300 towards the path.
Rabbit holes to be filled in during the spring to try to prevent further damage to the cemetery and graves[PS1] .
09.21- NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAN UPDATE
Owmby are now considering a sole neighbourhood plan following the withdrawal of NBS PC from the joint plan. Volunteers will be needed to progress.
10.21-CLERK VACANCY
Currently one application has been received. Pay scale to be reviewed.
11.21- TO DISCUSS AND RESOLVE THE 5 YEAR PLAN
Cllr Mellor stated that the 5year plan was very detailed and a good basis for the future. If adopted the council need to be mindful that the workload is shared. Resolved to adopt the 5 year plan. Item to remain on the agenda as some wording needs amending.
12.21 HIGHWAYS MATTERS INCLUDING TREES ON NORMANBY ROAD
Overhanging trees on Normanby Road have now been pruned.
13.21 FINAL PRECEPT REQUEST
Resolved to request £7100.00
14.21 PARISH COUNCIL BANK ACCOUNT
Resolved to write to Natwest to ask for John Wiggins to be removed.
